Chinatown massage parlor owners face prostitution charges

IN NATICK, I AM JACK HARPER. TWO CHINATOWN MASSAGE SHOP OWNERS FACE CRIMINAL CHARGES ON ALLEGED PROSTITUTION BEHIND CLOSED DOORS. DETAILS TONIGHT. THESE WOMEN ARE ACCUSED OF MAINTAINING HOUSES OF PROSTITUTION INSIDE MASSAGE BUSINESSES IN CHINATOWN. SOPHIA W ANG IS THE OWNER OF LOTUS MASSAGE. SHE IS THE OWNER OF THE BEAUTY SPOT. OUR PRODUCER HIT BOTH BUSINESSES, AND WHEN THE MASSAGES WERE OVER, HE WAS OFFERED SEX FOR A FEE, WHICH HE DECLINED. THE BUSINESSES WERE ALSO RATED BY INVESTIGATORS IN NOVEMBER, AND PROSECUTORS SAY AN UNDERCOVER OFFICER WAS ALSO PROPOSITIONED. THEY TOLD THEM THE PHONE NUMBERS. HE WAS OFFERED SEX FOR A FEE. MY BELIEF IS THERE IS NO EVIDENCE THESE WOMEN DID ANYTHING WRONG, THAT THEY KNEW ANYONE ELSE WAS DOING ANYTHING WRONG, AND THAT THIS CASE SHOULD NOT BE IN COURT. THE DEFENSE FILED COURSES TO DISMISS IN BOTH CASES. THOSE MOTIONS WERE DENIED . BECAUSE IT IS DIFFICULT TO PROSECUTE THE CASES, CITIES DATE — CITY, STATE, AND FEDERAL
