Hello welcome to MooMooMath. In this video

I would like to talk about rectangles, rhombuses, and squares.

Each of these shapes are pland 2 dimensional shapes.

Each of these shapes are considered a polygon, which is a closed figure composed of line

segments. They also are considered quadrilaterals which

mean they each have 4 sides They also are all parallelograms.which means

they have opposite sides that are parallel. Let’s look at some unique properties of a

rhombus,rectangle, and a square. Let’s

take a look at 14 properties of a rhombus. A Rhombus is a Quadrilateral, which means

it has four sides, and the sides of a rhombus are congruent.

The opposite sides of a rhombus are parallel. The opposite angles of a Rhombus are congruent.

The diagonals of a rhombus are perpendicular. The diagonals of a Rhombus create form four

congruent interior triangles. The diagonals of a rhombus bisect each other

which means they cut each other in half. The formula for perimeter equals 4 s s equals

sides The formula for area equals 1/2 diameter 1

+ diameter 2 a rhombus has all the properties of a parallelogram

opposite sides congruent, opposite angles congruent, diagonals bisect each other

All squares are rhombuses but not all rhombuses are squares Properties of a rectangle

A rectangle is part of the quadrilateral family. A rectangle is a plane shape with 4 sides.

In addition, it has several other properties A rectangle is a 4 sided polygon, with opposite

sides being parallel. In addition, a rectangle has 4 right angles

and the sum of the interior angles add to 360 degrees.

The diagonals of a rectangle are equal length The diagonals bisect and create two equal

triangles. Opposite sides are equal and parallel

All squares are rectangles, but not all rectangles are squares.

Properties of a square A square is a plane shape that is a quadrilateral

that is 2D so it has length and width but not height.

A square has 4 congruent sides 4 equal sides. Along with these 4 sides a square has 4 right

angles The diagonals are perpendicular and create

4 right angles. The diagonals bisect each other.

The diagonals of a square also bisect opposite angles

and create equal 45 degree angles. The diagonals create congruent triangles

Triangle ABC is congruent to ACD A

square can be considered a rhombus with four

right angles or a square with 4 equal sides. Thanks for watching

helped a lot thanks mam

Properties of a rhombus, rectangle, and square

May i know , what animator or what did you used to edit this ? Just badly need for our video too . Regarding square . Thanks 😃

i did not learn anything, next time try using more simple words.

This is madisyn bland I liked this video alot.

Oh Jesus Plz Help Me

trying to pass my Fsa. im bad at geometry

I HOPE THAT I WOULD BE MY TEACHER MAM

Thank you this is very helpful to made me get out of one corner👍🏻

it help me a lot !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Wish I watched this before taking my regents today

OK cool, I got that if you make a diagonal line from the bottom left to the top right, that line creates a 45 degree angle I sorta knew that but now I'm certain.

What I was really hoping for is if you make a line from the bottom left to the center of the right most face… what angle would that be on? 30 degrees?

Nice

when you have a quiz tomorrow, directly go to youtube

Good for my kids

Whelp….I have a quiz on this tomorrow, I have no clue what I'm doing. This makes sense. I really hope I do well. Thank you

thank you!!!

thx helped me a lot

OMG thx dude this helped a lot i could not get what this means in my rewiew for my test but when i watched your vid in youtube i understood what to do and i have a testmtommorow thanks a lot

The cause of thise video make my pass the teast put like if it help you

It's very useful for me thank you

Actualy i hate maths but this makes me underatand more

Got A+ on my homework thanks

You are the best moomoo math and science

Thank you so much , this video really helped me

Nice video

3:12 diagonals bisect and they are not of same size…How come…diagonal d1 and d2 may not be of the same size

Good

Thanks

3:11 is wrong bro

very good Sir

What

super

OH MY GOD SO USELEES

I gotta past my geometry test tomorrow 😣

Thanks I have to prepare for rhombus for my maths club and this helped me a lot in doing my project. I hope I got A+ because I have decorate my project best and I am also writing the best material in it so thanks for the video. Can you even explain pentagon and hexagon coz that's my new progect I have to do. Thanks anyways 😃

i literally didn’t pay attention at all, i just danced to the music the whole time lol

Thanks for the help you just saved me from failing in my Math's test day after

The graphic at 3:11 is incorrect, the arrows point to the parts of the bisected segments but one should point to one part of the other bisected segment.

Thanks. The only one that helped me with my homework. I appreciate it

yo can anybody tell me where you can find this beat, its catchy!!

{..} {..}

——— mmmmm

Diagonals of rectangle have 90?

Dirty

I am rumbus

BGG where we need Concenration..

Uff.

That sucks

Stop Making these videos so my teacher stops making me watch them!..

Sir, a rhombus may be a square

Thanks

Sir you'r great😙😙😙😙

Good☺👍👍

thank you, really helped on the math essay

Ha

Mr moo moo

U should use formal languag nor informal language

this thing sucks
